Counter-Strike 2 update improves performance and fixes Overpass

Valve has released a small but important update for CS2, focusing on performance improvements, inventory fixes, and visual stability on various hardware configurations.

Performance and gameplay fixes

The update addresses a performance issue that primarily affected Windows 10 users with new Intel processors, which should result in smoother gameplay for many players. Valve also fixed a bug where the “Delete Item” option in the inventory wasn’t working, restoring normal inventory management.

Additionally, an issue with visual distortions when using the crosshair on AMD graphics cards was resolved, improving visual clarity for affected users. Valve also continued to expand the list of console variables that add-ons can modify, giving creators more flexibility.

Map Update: Overpass

A small but significant fix has been made on the Overpass map, where Valve has addressed an issue with hot air balloons, ensuring that visual elements on the map are displayed correctly.

While this update isn’t a major patch, it does address a few annoying issues and improve overall stability, especially for players experiencing recent performance drops.
